What I'm Reading

As I embark on doing my research for Black Men of Measure, I’m keeping track of the books, articles, archives, and other sources that I’m unearthing, reading and challenging my thinking.  

Some of the sources will be about my dad, some of it will reference and inform the bigger picture I'm painting about skilled labor, creativity, unions, civic life, and community in Chicago and beyond. 

Instead of keeping this living document under wraps, I'm laying it out for anyone curious enough to take a closer look.
